Very cool. Now I know that most people use their cell phones for keeping in touch in malls, conferences, etc... but why pay the cell phone bill if you don't have to? Going Christmas shopping? Bring these little babies and you'll be able to talk the whole time without worry. Going hiking? Great to have these (safety first!) Positives: Sold as a two pack. 22 channels so no worries about getting mixed signals. 121 privacy codes. 11 NOAA weather channels with alert feature. IVOX voice activated transmit. Range up to 18 miles outdoors in line-of-sight applications. Includes battery and dual-pocket charger. Also works on 3 "AA" alkaline batteries (not included). Possible Drawbacks: You may look fairly geeky using them. Includes both orange and blue faceplate. (not the girliest of colors, but not too bad!)
