Founded by Rich Schlampp, Mueller has taken a completely different approach to producing and marketing rifle scopes. For starters, they are a relatively small company that has the bulk of their products manufactured and assembled overseas. Although this approach sounds like many other scope manufacturers, Mueller Optics searched long and hard to find the right components at the right quality and price. They also take a unique approach to marketing. Rather than allocate substantial amounts of money towards advertising, they rely heavily on word of mouth and internet reviews on forums and hunting sites to advertise their products. This allows them to keep the retail costs within a targeted area. This also explains why many shooters and hunters have yet to be introduced to their line. They offer a number of models and have a lifetime warranty on their products. I've got two Mueller scopes and think that they may be one of the best rifle scope values on the market today. Mine are extremely clear, even at long ranges, and they are very durable. My only complaint would be the somewhat short eye relief on the long range models, but that may just be me.
