It was before she was born, and I was able to throw all of the new clothes we had for her at that time into one load (and there was no need to separate lights from darks because, of course, clothing in non-pastel colors for newborns are basically nonexistent). When the washer stopped, I opened up the lid and was immediately overwhelmed. There were so many pieces of miniature clothing. I quickly realized it’s harder to do the laundry for a newborn because of the tiny-ness of it all; it’s like picking up a bunch of toothpicks off the floor. When I took it out, my first impression was “ahhh, look how tiny,” and I was immediately nostalgic for those first few months. New For Baby sells clothing especially for newborns in size 0-3 months. Comfort is key in their line of clothing, and I must say, their Cozy Hoodie is super soft. It’s the type of fabric I want touching my newborn’s skin.
