If you bought this bed stop letting your child use the toy chest immediately and go to http://www.baysidefurnishings.com/recalls.html for details on how to get new hinges. A recall was issued when a baby died after being strangled when the lid slammed shut and stuck his neck. DO NOT let your children play with this until you've replaced the hinges. So sad.
