I just the sensor inside a shoe pouch velcroed to my laces. Of course if your a super serious runner, you'd go with a Garmin, but this I love for the competitive interaction/challenges. Favorite feature: Power Song.

I told you that you don't NEED the shoes to use the sports kit for ipod. Just a little pocket attachment thing for any shoe. Cheaper than $100 + for the shoes.

I know I don't have Nike shoes yet, but that's my next purchase, once I make enough!!

I'd need an iPod Nano, however...
