I've had my eye on the Kindle for awhile since it would be nice to travel without a suitcase half full of books, or to jut have some bus reading without the extra weight, but finally decided on this when I saw it since it supports more than your own file types, lets you read public domain books for free, and such. A protective cover would be nice to go with
