Then AmaramA is here to accommodate for no two items of mine are ever alike~! See the world through anothers eye by filtering out all else but there emotions! Meanwhile keep a grip on your current reality with your other unmasked eye! This was unscaled from a pair of welding goggles that I took apart. The eye piece itself has a green glass lens covered in a protective clear plastic lens to see out of and is permanently in place to keep the glass from breaking. Yes one can see out of this piece with the "Empathy" strainer over the eye piece and the colored glass inside. I cut out, hand cut and placed each piece of copper. Then it was securely attached to the Ocular Eye Piece with natural black wool that I placed around the outside and the eye piece itself. I don't know about you--but I HATED marks that would show up on my face when I wore other goggles. Now I don't have to worry about that since the black wool is soft and prevents indentations on ones face. Also this is natural black wool that I got from my friend--so you don't have to worry about any dyes getting on ones face. The strap is adjustable for any head type since they are hand braided from leather and are a good nine inches long on one side and about 14 inches on the other side. The gears are carved from wood (from fellow Etsian Porkchopshow at http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5003523--very nummy person you should check him out for all your cool retro needs!~) and hand painted by moi and then securely attached as non moveable parts.
