Much faster than my olderer, smaller RAM, used to take forever for iTunes to boot up, particularly when running anything else, now it pops right up! Cons: The heatspreader goes too low, hitting the top of the slot. The clips don't close entirely but they aren't blocking anything and the RAM works so I'm not worried. They close enough to keep it held in too. Other Thoughts: Is my board just really old/weird for not fitting this or is this something other people have run into? Manufacturer Response:Hello, we are pleased that you are enjoying your RAM. The heatspreaders are set to a standard height, so possibly you have deeper than usual memory slots (?). Just shut down and press down quite firmly on the top of the heatspreaders. As long as the memory is seated well you shouldn't have a problem.
