jimjr - maybe the whole deal died with pitchman! I did end up getting one of the same things from Sears. It works well, but it does have heat problems. If you take it easy it will do everything they say, but it heats up pretty fast. Made in India instead of China - Harbor Freight will probably have one soon and it will probably be better..... great concept, just must be hard to vent the heat.

I bought mine in June, returned it mmediately, what a piece of junk. Called and got a "return Authorization Number" and sent it back in June. It's September and I have not received a refund or any communication from them at all.

Alot of negative reviews here. That's too bad, cause it does look like a great saw. The infomercial fooled me into thinking it was of QUALITY - it sure looks like a quality item, but these reviews have shed some light on my opinions...

I regret buying this saw. Even just paying the s&h was too much!! I just tried cutting a couple of boards and the motor was very hot to the touch and it was smoking like it had just lite a cigarette. DO NOT BUY THIS SAW!!!

I made two cuts in 1/16" joist hanger following the directions. The saw was on the vice supported side of the hanger and the cut was initiated diagonally through the fold as instructed. The first cut went fine, the second kicked back at the very end of the cut. The saw now sounds like the insides are gone. This was a simple cut in light weight metal. I'm sending it back!

They say Dual Saw is the only saw on the market with counter rotating blades. Not true. Sears has been selling a nearly identical, but more powerful unit for years. See: http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00925574000P?vName=Tools&keyword=saw

I would be interested in knowing what parts look and feel cheap - did you actually try the saw, or just pack it up when you took a look at the parts? From the pictures of it , the guard looks like it is plastic, the underguard is plastic on lots of new saws, but the over guard should be metal - thanks for posting your impression

I have ordered one. The dualsaw has too many cheap looking plastic components. Durability is most suspect. I'm returning it this week. I regret for buying it and now having to pay for the original $9.95 shipping and the return shipping fees.
