That evening I went surfing and...See more » I was needing a new mixer and commented to my husband what I really would like and he said that he would pick one up later on. That evening I went surfing and found one that was a step up from what we had seen earlier - at the same price! I bought it and then told him. The day that it arrived I made bread. It is the first time in years and I loved how easily the Kitchen Aid worked. It is noiseless in comparison to so many other mixers and it has handled everything that I have put it through so far....from biscuits and breads, to candies of different kinds. I love it.
