The Architects in Action Series presents...A SaaS Solution. This SaaS Solution follows Gianpaolo Carraro and Fred Chong as they work with Southworks.NET of Buenos Aires, Argentina to develop a SaaS sample application called LitwareHR. The SaaS Solution is covered on three different websites: MSDN/architecture/saas/SampleApp gets you to source code, documentation, and some videos. Codeplex gets you to discussion forums, feature requests and - why not - code contribution. This page, skyscrapr.net, takes you “behind the scenes.” The content on this page is divided into three parts. The "polished" section is an exciting reality video series. The “unplugged” section shows some backstage views containing raw videos of LitwareHR in-the-making. The "artifacts" section is made up of our accompanying documents. | / Developing a SaaS Solution - Reality Video Series Want to know how to develop a SaaS solution? An example of such additional requirement is Multi-tenancy. * The target audience of the sample application are the software architects and developers who are building or considering building software delivered as a service. By looking at the code as well as the documentation released alongside the code, architects and developers will have a firsthand understanding of best practices in building software as a service.
