We could've seen Neville turning out to be gay. Or Dolores Umbridge turning out to be a lesbian. But Dumbledore? We'll admit, we didn't see it coming. But, apparently, a lot of people did. You just knew. Maybe it happened when you were reading "Deathly Hallows" and your imagination pictured teenage Dumbledore running around with teenage Grindelwald, talking about plans of world domination and occasionally getting caught gazing just a second too long into each other's deep, soulful eyes. Or maybe it happened when you realized that J.K. Rowling spent seven full books punching you in the face that the thing that makes people good or evil is whether they have the capacity to love... and since Dumbledore was the adult personification of good, he must have had love. But since he was never married, you postulated, his love must have been the taboo kind you can only express by taking a wide stance in a bathroom while you wait for your train at Platform 9 and 3/4ths. We don't know when it clicked in your genius brain. We just know that it did. And we have a shirt for you to celebrate your inability to turn off your gaydar while reading a children's book. It's the man himself, but expressing himself as he wished he could have. Rainbows emanating from his wand. A kiss coming from his Angelina Jolie-ified lips. And his wrist cocked, limply, ready to cast a spell. OK, now. You're saying, that's cool... but I didn't see the Dumbledore gay reveal coming. And it's kinda blowing my mind about how many other wizards might also be deep in the closet... and I'm thinking it might be all of them. After all, I know the hardcore religious types HATE the "Harry Potter" phenomenon, and maybe it's not just because wizarding is so sacrilegious... maybe it's because they all got tipped off that ALL wizards can lean that way. Well, we've got the shirt for you too. A stamp of Dumbledore, repping what you're thinking: Wizards are gay. So simple. So true (probably).
