My 2y/o really loves taking pictures, and I'm sure a 5y/o with the ability to actually take fairly decent pictures, would also love it- and enjoy seeing the results.

I think it would be amazing to see what a 5 year old would take pictures of and I'm sure he/she would love to see them someday when they're older.

My first impulse was to say Nr 3 for a 5 y.o. but think the camera would be much more practical and fun. Good price too!!

I know my 6 year old loves taking pictures. And he did at 4 and 5 as well. I agree with another comment, kids really do take the most amazing pictures. Especially at this age.
