This Art Deco ring made in France Circa 1920 is set in 18K white gold and platinum and is mounted with One old mine brilliant cut diamond with an estimated weight of 0.07 carat 14 rose cut diamonds. We do not have the weight of the diamonds which is normal in our trade when it comes to rose cut diamonds. All diamond weights, color grades and clarity are approximate since the stones were not removed from their mounts to preserve the integrity of the setting. We are sure of the origin of this ring because of the French control marks representing an eagle’s head (that was in use in France from about 1838) next to the dog's head which is the official French hallmark for jewelry containing or made of platinum and that has been used since 1912.
