See more » Program Manager - IAESTE Inbound | LOOKING TO HELP EXPAND INTERNATIONAL EXCHANGE? If you are interested in becoming an integral part of making international exchange experiences possible for students, companies and other professionals, you will want to join AIPT’s (Association for International Practical Training) IAESTE team as an Inbound Program Manager. Along side a highly-motivated, very collegial, and stable staff, you will work to manage and develop AIPT’s IAESTE United States’ inbound open programs and industry relations effort. As a Program Manager, you will cultivate domestic internship positions for foreign interns and accommodate them while in the U.S. by coordinating efforts of regional staff, as well as IAESTE’s student and professional chapters. About AIPT •A not-for-profit, international cultural exchange organization providing quality work-based educational and professional experiences. •5,000 current participants •61,000 total participants since 1950 •Serving more than 80 countries •56 years old About IAESTE United States •IAESTE’s objective is to operate a high quality practical training exchange program within a national membership organization that enhances technical and professional development and promotes international understanding and goodwill amongst students, academic institutions, employers and the wider national and international community. Additional Qualifications: Education & Experience Required: •Bachelor’s degree required. •Must have personal experience visiting, living, training and/or working outside the United States. •Sales and Marketing experience strongly recommended. •Experience working effectively with customers, clients, students and professionals from diverse cultures required. •Experience in administering international exchange programs a plus. •Experience in public speaking and giving various presentations required. Skills & Abilities Required: •Ability to effectively communicate with and influence both internal and external customers, as well as key stakeholders. •Demonstrated ability to articulate positively, clearly and professionally to diverse audiences. •Demonstrated ability to multi-task, to prioritize workload, to organize and to make decisions in a time sensitive environment. •Ability to utilize objective, rational judgment and critical thinking skills for anticipating outcomes and problem solving. •Must be a team player, motivated to take initiative and resourceful. •High level of customer service, cross-cultural sensitivity and professional demeanor required. •Foreign language skills preferred.
