I love the idea behind this clock. Everyone hates being jarred awake suddenly. This just makes so much more sense than traditional alarm clocks.

Pretty much any "modern" or "hi-tech" alarm clock would be fine.

This will be even better than just the gradually increasing light as it will combine aromatherapy scents too which is a good thing as long as you don't use lavendar designed to make you sleep or chamomile to relax.

This clock starts to wake you up slowly, allowing you to actually adjust to having to be awake. Sounds nice to me!

Even though I voted for the sonic one because I personally need a super loud annoying clock to get me up in the morning I rememeber my roomate in college wanted one of these so much she talked about it every day for a whole sememster!! She ended up getting one and loved it!!

Ok this one seems to be the winner and the one most people have voted for. Loud alarm clocks infuriate me and don't make me want to wake up but rather want to throw them across the room. Something like this is wonderful. This is my pick.

My dad has this and he likes it very much. It's been around for years, quite reliable.

I'd be more likely to actually keep using this one -- the others seem like I'd want to just throw them through the window after the first time.

i actually don't think this one will exactly wake u up b/c from the description it sounds pretty soft and just not something that'll wake u up.. but the other two sounds WAY too extreme. Plus, I have a feeling that this one will sound really nice =D

I have this one and like it a lot. I don't use the aroma therapy and it needs a cd player. A brighter light wouldn't hurt either, but this one has just enough to wake me up on those dark winter mornings, just long enough to hit the snooze button.

i like this one. i hate extremely loud alarm clocks, so this would be an unexpected change for me. :)

This is a classy clock alright! Such a nice design and not tormenting at early AM.

SKIP IT. I bought this and was generally satisfied with it until I saw my girlfriend's sunrise alarm clock. This clock looks like the pyramid buildings in Blade Runner and the light doesn't get as bright as it should. The aromatherapy and most of the sound functions are an afterthought, but I do like to wake up to the bird chirping. I am hoping to try this one and see if it is any better, but I would really like to see one that has both the simulated sunrise function AND a CD player.
