From creating a press made by hand with hinges from the local art store, to later buying a 4-color press and a dryer in 1997, a new company emerged. At the age of 19, Jason Welsher started To Die For in half of his parentÂ’s garage. With bands touring year round and clothing companies creating new product lines each season, it left him with no choice but to get all new state-of-the-art printing machines and expand his warehouse in Costa Mesa, CA. Younger brother Josh came from a background of graffiti in which he paints murals at major events across the world. Combining the likes of traditional tattoo art that Jason has on his body, and the graffiti that Josh sketches out in his black books, they began to incorporate their ideas with the music they listen to. To Die For started to endorse bands and collaborate with artists by supplying them with clothing they made by hand.
