i don’t measure when i cook… so when i come up with recipes on my own, the amounts are anyone’s guess. use what looks right for you. ingredients: 2 green peppers 1 small onion 1 lb gr. beef 1 small can tomato paste 1 cup wine 1 1/2 cup brown rice couple handfuls shredded cheese salt, pepper and other spices to your taste this will be a snap if you have a pan that can be used on the stove top and in the oven. if not, get out a casserole dish and a fry pan. start the rice. while the ground beef is browning, chop up the onion and cut the peppers into bite size strips. add tomato paste, wine, onions and peppers and mix til everything is combined and covered with the sauce. keep warm til the rice is done. now is the time to transfer to a casserole dish if you need to. spread rice over meat mixture and cover with cheese. pop into a 350 degree oven and cook til cheese is nice and bubbly.See less »
