The mascara itself is nothing phenomenal, and the vibration of the wand doesn't completely rid your lashes of clumping. With a price point of $30, it's a little steep to pay for a mascara that doesn't "WOW" you. Pros * The case is pretty * Curls lashes * Didn't flake * The mascara is a good general mascara * The brush part of the wand is decent Cons * Doesnt separate and volumize more than regular mascara * Pricey for a mascara that's not phenomenal * Package states that the battery contains mercury, meaning no tossing it in the garbage Description * Manufacturer - Estee Lauder, Inc * Patent Pending Technology * Wand - Vibrating brush * Colors - Available in Black * Suggested Price - $30 Guide Review - Review of Estee Lauder TurboLash Mascara I noticed, accidentally, when I first received the mascara that the side of the box stated how the battery contains mercury and to "See leaflet for disposal". This was a little disheartening since you are going to have to dispose of the mascara in three to six months when it goes bad. After overlooking the battery situation, I wanted to focus on the actual mascara's performance. So I followed the directions on how the mascara works, and began the first application. The initial trial was good, since my lashes curled, there were no clumps, and my lashes looked good but not huge. I was actually shocked that I didn't have to do the shimmy move for the mascara to apply properly. Throughout the day of the first trial I did not experience any smudging or flaking, so I was happy with the product when the time came to remove it at bedtime. So far so good, so score one for Estee Lauder. Since I always try each product I review two or three times to ensure the product works well, I decided to do the same with Estee Lauder TurboLash mascara. The second and third trial, however, did not go as well. Both applications left some clumping in my lashes but still curled them. There was still no flaking or smudging throughout the day, but the mascara didn't seem to work as well as expected. Overall, the mascara formula was decent since it contains olive oil and made my lashes feel great. However when you factor in the clumping, mediocre volume, higher price point, and the battery containing mercury the overall end review of the mascara is the same as the results I got from the mascara; mediocre. The bottom line is that even though the mascara is a first among many in the industry, I would suggest leaving it to look elsewhere or to use that chunk of change toward your new fall makeup wardrobe.

I've tried Lancome's, L'Oreal's, and Estee Lauder's... out of the three, this one is batt worthy, eyes closed! I have typical Asian lashes- light, short, sparse. TurboLash gives me length, definition, and if applied more than once it volumizes beautifully without clumping.
