Can a flowerpot sprout directly from the soil rather than set down on the ground? Can, as the plant itself, which originates from the ground, require earth either flat or inclined? Santavase is just that, Santavase revolutionizes the concept of flowerpots, no longer set down but screwed half way into the ground by its steel finished point. For the designer, this represents a prosthesis and a prolongation of nature. Santachiara's flowerpot decorates the garden in an unexpected way, on its own or among others, upright or at a slight angle. For internal use a metal support has been made available. This modern furniture focuses great attention on creativity and taste of innovation, out of the ordinary, and with highest care for details both of exterior design and of functionality. About the Designer Original outsider designer on the international panorama, with proposals that hint of both art and design, Denis Santachiara has been present in several exhibitions such as: Biennale di Venezia, Documenta 8 Kassel. His pieces are in the permanent collections of several museums such as: Moma in New York, Musee des arts Decoratifs - Louvre in Paris, Museum and Collection de design du Centre Pompidou, the new museum of Shanghai and the 1st Architectural Biennal in Peking, 2004. | Dimension 15.7" (40 cm) D x 33.5" (85 cm) H
