Saturn L-series The Saturn L-series was a line of automobiles sold by General Motors' Saturn marque. The L-series mid-size sedans and wagons were introduced in 2000. They were based on the Opel Vectra B and manufactured at a GM plant in Wilmington, Delaware. The L-series was available with four- and six-cylinder engines. Saturn ION The Saturn ION is a compact car sold by General Motors' Saturn brand. It uses the GM Delta platform. The ION replaced the Saturn S-series in 2003. Saturn VUE The VUE was introduced for the 2002 model year and was designed by Saturn. It is manufactured at the Spring Hill Saturn plant. Its unibody platform is shared with the Chevrolet Equinox, Pontiac Torrent and the European Opel Antara. Saturn Aura The Aura is a sedan produced by General Motors' Saturn brand. It debuted as a concept car at the North American International Auto Show in January 2005. The production model of the Aura was shown at the 2006 New York Auto Show in April, with production commencing in the summer of 2006 for the 2007 model year. The Aura replaces the Saturn L-series, which had seen lackluster sales and was cancelled with the 2005 model year. Saturn Outlook The Saturn Outlook is a crossover SUV which debuted at the New York International Auto Show for the 2007 model year. The Outlook is based on General Motors' new Lambda architecture, which it shares with the GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave. Saturn Relay The Saturn Relay is a minivan from General Motors' Saturn brand that was introduced in 2005. As Saturn's first minivan, the Relay replaces the L-Series wagon. The Relay is built alongside its sisters, the Buick Terraza, the Chevrolet Uplander, and the Pontiac Montana in Doraville, Georgia. The Relay is the first Saturn vehicle without polymer side paneling. Saturn Sky The Saturn Sky is a roadster to be released in the first quarter of 2006 as a 2007 model. It uses the Kappa automobile platform shared with the Pontiac Solstice. The Sky concept was shown at the 2005 North American International Auto Show, with the production version following at the 2006 show. It will be built at GM's Wilmington, Delaware plant, alongside the Solstice and the Opel GT. The Sky features 18 in (457 mm) wheels and a 2.4 L Ecotec LE5 I4 engine that produces 177 hp (132 kW). Manual and automatic transmissions are available, both with five gears.
