In India, 135 million children do not attend school. That means that with no prospect for gaining the skills school can provide for them, the equivalent of nearly half the population of the entire United States has little prospect of ever moving themselves out of the poverty that dominates their lives. This is somewhat ironic, seeing as David Miscaviage is himself a High school dropout, who employs Hubbard quotes such as "unkillability" in actual speeches to his congregation (try invulnerability, invincibility, immortality; Dave, anything else, please) and nothing much is taught to children of staffers inside the Church except for the pseudo-scientific ramblings of Hubbard, who thought that knocking together two pieces of plutonium could produce a nuclear explosion (wow, the ignorance)
