I really need a proper jacket for wintersports -- one that actually keeps snow out of my clothes and stands a chance at holding in some insulation. The 'Ride' brand "Seward" jacket is in the lower price range for decent wintersport jackets and the neutral grey color I want it in ("Charcoal Diamond Stripe") will be versatile for years. I have pants I wear for skiing -- they are actually snowboarding pants -- from the same company, and I am really impressed with the fit, comfort, and durability. I would want this jacket in a size XL so I can layer plenty underneath, because I get cold out there.
