A blast from the past is hitting the homemaker's list of must-haves this season. Aprons are back and extremely trendy, but these are not the aprons you remember seeing your grandmother wear. With the invention of the washing machine and with clothes becoming cheaper, aprons began to loose their appeal in the 1960's. They are in the process of franchising their business. Keep an eye out for a kiosk opening soon at a mall near you. Jeanetta Darley, owner of Splendid Designs, hand makes aprons for the modern woman. Her eye for detail is splendid to say the least. She makes waist aprons as well as bib aprons and puts her own sexy spin on each design. Each apron also has a unique handmade name tag describing the over all feel of the apron. They are all one of a kind and unique works. She sells them at the Shoppes on Woodlawn, in Little Rock, Arkansas and also on the Etsy website. Her aprons do sell fast, so if you see one you love do not hesitate to grab it.
