Welcome to the SHARED EARTH website and on-line shop!! As a fair trading company we believe it is possible to trade fairly and ethically whilst benefiting artisans and craftsmen. At Shared Earth we develop products with more than 30 producers across the world. Our aim is to improve the livelihoods of disadvantaged people in developing countries, benefiting local community projects and keeping alive traditional skills that would otherwise be lost. | Shared Earth offers one of the largest selections of fairly traded, sustainable products and crafts in the UK. 23 of our 33 craft producers are members of IFAT (International Federation of Fair Trade), recognising our continuing commitment to buying products from producer groups who need assistance most. Our wide range includes intricately hand carved wood from Jaipur in India, beautiful textiles and accessories made from recycled embroidered saris and handmade paper cards from our producers in the Philippines and Mauritius. We also have an extensive range of jewellery including fashion jewellery from India and contemporary high quality silver from Peru.
