This craft project is perhaps the easiest you'll find on this site. Considering how easy most of the projects on WedFrugal.com are, that's saying quite a bit. You do not need sewing skills, you do not need talent of any kind nor do you need to mess with hard-to-find supplies or complicated instructions. It truly is a craft that anybody can do. Supplies - One luncheon plate or soup bowl with gold or silver trim - One votive candle - Potpourri with large pieces in it Instructions Place your candle on the plate or bowl. It will look best if you place the candle off-center rather than in the middle of the plate. Take a handful of potpourri and place it around the candle. You've finished your centerpiece! Of course, there are a few tips and ideas to dress up this project. For example, your potpourri can be spritzed with a bit of glitter spray. The glitter will catch the light of the lit candle and create and additional depth to the project. You can dress up the votive candle with various notions such as ribbons, pearl sprays, baby's breath, silk and ribbon flowers or various charms. You can place the plate on a flower ring to provide a more complicated look to the craft and you can change the candle color to go with your wedding colors. Of course, you also have a lot of choices in how you want to create the project itself. A dinner plate with a pillar candle will change the size of the project to suit larger reception tables. The potpourri can be mixed with items such as glass stones, faux pearls or beads. The potpourri can be any scent that you wish as can the candle. The candle can also be dressed up by pressing beads or faux pearls into it. As with most wedding crafts, the project can be changed to suit your own personal needs. Now, wasn't that simple?
