my brother got a few of these for me, root beer was smelled VERY strong & the fruity ones smelled so good!
When I went to look them up I found that many come individually wrapped in their own plastic tubes which defeats their eco-friendly purpose in my opinion.
They sell these at Christmas Tree Shops! They sell a blister pack of 3 for 39 cents. My sister bought some for our neices.
Just my 2 cents here. They look cool, and they do a cool thing, but...have you ever graded an entire grade's worth of work using these? Can you imagine the mixture of scents? Now, what if you are highly sensitive to scents? Maybe this is something that should be used at home, for home stuff.

So I actually won one of these at PTA bingo tonight (no kidding). They have bright delicious smells and interesting texture due to being made of recycled newspapers. Root Beer seems to be the Elementary School favorite.
