See more » I don't know what the exact number is but, I'm sure it's in the thousands for how many new blogs are started everyday. Out of those thousands of start up blogs how many do you think actually ever make any real money? Well, I do know what that number is. Sadly it's less than 1%. Yes, you read that right. It is not a typo. Less than "ONE" percent of website startups make good part-time to full-time money. So, does that mean you should just throw up your hands in defeat and disconnect your computer? If you're a quitter or someone who isn't willing to take some time to learn then, yes. If you ARE willing to learn and put some genuine effort into this then guess what? You can be a part of the 1% that does actually make real money on their blog. Why do 99% of bloggers fail to make money? This may sound harsh but it's very simple. They either don't know what they're doing or they are not putting forth enough "honest, intelligent effort". Wow, I'm sorry. I just sounded like my dad there. Maybe he did know something after all. It's okay if you don't really know what you're doing. As a a matter of fact, until you can admit it you will never actually be able to learn anything. (Thank you Dr. Phil) And guess what? Running a successful, money making website or blog is all about constantly learning, trying new things, tracking the results, learning from your mistakes and duplicating the things that work. Without a doubt though it helps to have a good foundation to start building upon. It will lessen the learning curve and give you some small (maybe large), quick victories to build your confidence. I just got done reading a new Free eBook from Bryan Clark on this subject. I have to tell you I am genuinely impressed! In a world of eBooks that are over-hyped and under-deliver this stands out as a valuable resource for all bloggers. This eBook can give you the foundation to build a blog that makes money and puts you in the 1% category and keeps you out of the 99% one. I've been doing this for a while now and guess what? I learned a couple of things from reading his book. I know, I know… You thought I knew everything. I'm sorry to burst your bubble. There is a lot of stuff I don't know but, I'm constantly learning and that's why my blogs make money. So go here and get his new eBook. It's free. Then come back here and tell me what you think of it. By the way. You will notice that his blog and his eBook are very professionally done. His eBook is perhaps one of the best designed eBooks I've ever seen. They were both designed by Ben Cope. The blog actually uses Ben's WordPress Dream Theme. I've been telling you about Ben for several months. Here is another fine example of his fine work.
