I have a VAIO and its awesome. Apple is not as compatible.

I made this decision a year ago and went with the apple. It was fun but very frustrating to use because even the Microsoft Word and Excel programs didn't quite look or work the same. I found that several websites were not accessable with the Mac. Ultimately, If you are accustomed to a PC and Business applications, the transition and limitations weren't worth it. I ended up buying a PC laptop. Now all I use the Mac for is Itunes and watching DVDs when I travel (because it's smaller and lighter.)
