it really depends on what your shooting ... if your shooting stills .. the small one should be ok ... but if you have a child like i do ... get a good one with a FAST Shutter speed .. because i got a cheeper one .. and the shutter is SO slow my kids on the other side of the room before i get the shot .. it's compltly impractal Posted by ivygodess0106 at 10:22 AM on 11/23/07 Report Spam

I made the mistake of chooses a larger camera and it really limits the times I bring it with me. Its very cumbersome. If you could I'd recommend both, perhaps splurge on the large camera and buy a cheap small camera for you purse. Posted by jbiz1981 at 12:15 PM on 11/7/07 Report Spam

The smaller one isn't really that small, and although I have an even smaller Canon that I can easily carry, I've been wishing I had more control of things like lighting, depth of field, etc. I'd go for the one with more features if you take a lot of pictures. id go with this one. it has better zoom and easier controls to get the picture that you want. I have the canon powershot, and i like it, but it doesnt do very well with close-ups without a lot of tweaking. Posted by adelaide at 2:00 PM on 8/21/07 Report Spam
