it really depends on what your shooting ... if your shooting stills .. the small one should be ok ... but if you have a child like i do ... get a good one with a FAST Shutter speed .. because i got a cheeper one .. and the shutter is SO slow my kids on the other side of the room before i get the shot .. it's compltly impractal
I made the mistake of chooses a larger camera and it really limits the times I bring it with me. Its very cumbersome. If you could I'd recommend both, perhaps splurge on the large camera and buy a cheap small camera for you purse.
The smaller one isn't really that small, and although I have an even smaller Canon that I can easily carry, I've been wishing I had more control of things like lighting, depth of field, etc. I'd go for the one with more features if you take a lot of pictures. Plus, our old PowerShot lagged between photos, which was very annoying for quick moving scenes...
I was told that olympus has the best lenses and hence makes best pictures, so for that reason i'd go with this one ;)
I have this problem all the time! I have the SLR and LOVE it but it is a pain in the rear to tote! I still vote for the SLR cause I would rather have good pics no matter how hard it is to tote the camera to get them
has all the features you want, plus gives you an excuse for a new purse! I do like the Canon PowerShot though, it takes great pictures!
get the one with the better features and later on if you find you still want a smaller one for your purse, wait for a sale for that one!
Obviously - you get more for your money. But if you're looking for a great value the Canon is a great cheap buy!
id go with this one. it has better zoom and easier controls to get the picture that you want. I have the canon powershot, and i like it, but it doesnt do very well with close-ups without a lot of tweaking.
u should probably go with this one which can fit into your purse.....cuz some features u want right now are not exactly u r gonna use in the future......lol
features are much better than compactibility when it comes to quality obviously, haha.. i love canon and i'd say this one is your best bet!
