The SRAM Force DoubleTap shift-brake levers have incorporated new features and are vastly improved. First, the front derailleur can be trimmed while in the large chainring. SRAM has also added a reach adjustment feature. That and the Force DoubleTap lever 15º anatomic friendly sweep allow them to work well for both small and large hands. The cable routing is still nicely hidden underneath the bar tape, but now there is another cable routing option so the derailleur and brake cables can run along the front of the handlebar. Finally, the addition of zero-loss shifting lets front shifts engage immediately. The SRAM Force DoubleTap shift/brake lever feature a well thought out design that is both light and elegant. Smooth up and down shifts are achieved with one motion. A 15º sweep follows the natural movement of the hand and an adjustable reach give optimum drivetrain control. The comfortable lever shape is also aerodynamic and hides all the cables. A carbon brake lever, titanium hardware, and a magnesium shift lever provide both lightweight and stiffness.
