Steve's is the best blinds company out there... by far!

I'm not sure what I can add to the glowing customer feedback of Steve's Blinds & Wallpaper, but here goes… I thought it was going to be a bad experience when I ordered Steve's brand of solar shades twice, only to find the materials I requested were out of stock on both occasions. But Steve Katzman got involved personally and had his staff track down my exact choice of material from an outside vendor, than make my shades quickly, expertly, flawlessly. They really are the perfect touch that transforms my family room into "home." Steve's is different than the Blinds to Go's, Home Depots and Smith & Nobles of the world. First of all, Steve's products are half… and sometime a third… the price, but of exceptional quality. Second, his samples are free, and his website has more choices than anyone else's. Third, Steve is a local businessman who actually cares about what kind of experience his customers have and whether or not they are satisfied with his products and services. My blinds arrived before I thought they'd even have time to make them, triple-protected by special packaging, perfectly sized and easy to install. This company really did right by me. It's my third time ordering from Steve's, and it won’t be my last. Thank you, Steve's.

I bought 13 blinds from Steve's and am completely satisfied. They came exactly as ordered in under the allotted time. I saved hundreds by buying through Steve's. I won't hesitate to recommend Steve's to my friends.

Steve's Blinds truly takes the cake when it comes to terrible service. I ordered 6 blinds on July 10th. The blinds they sent were ALL the incorrect length. I had to call three times to find out what they would do about it, because every time I called no one followed up with me. Finally they said they would send me shipping labels so that I could return the blinds, and they would then ship me a new order. It took two weeks, and then they only sent one shipping label (I had two boxes to return). Three additional phone calls later and they have not shipped the 2nd label. They have received the 3 blinds I returned, but don't have a date for when the new blinds will be shipped. Today is September 23: I have 3 blinds at my home that I cannot use, and I honestly have no expectations that I will receive anything that I paid for from this company. For an $1,100 purchase, I would expect a reasonable level of service, and at minimum the product I paid for. I was lured in by "slightly" lower prices, and have huge regrets. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY TO ORDER CUSTOM BLINDS.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THESE SCAMMERS! FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT ARE STILL WAITING ON REFUNDS - YOU CAN DISPUTE THE CHARGES ON YOUR CREDIT CARD BASED ON FRAUDULENT CLAIMS BY THE VENDOR OR ITEMS RECEIVED NOT AS PROMISED. I too was hooked by the 100% satisfaction "guarantee" on the website and the low prices but it has been such a hassle!!! I wish I had looked for reviews before ordering. There are only 3 of 13 positive reviews listed here. That says something. I ordered two different wallpaper patterns. One pattern was received four days after I placed my order, on a Friday. HOWEVER, the rolls were shipped in a flimsy plastic bag that was merely folded over and sealed with the packing label. When I opened the package Saturday morning, one roll was obviously damaged with a tear in it 1/4" long and it cut into the roll 1/8" deep. I immediately called and was told that the manufacturer was closed on the weekend but they would take care of it first thing Monday and call me to provide an update. I received a return shipping label via email on Monday but no phone call ever came. Five days later on Friday, still no phone call or update so I call to see if the replacement wallpaper has been shipped. I call Steve's at 3pm EST and am told that the manufacturer is (AGAIN?) closed. The customer service rep was less than helpful and rude. I called first thing Monday and was told that the replacement order was placed that morning. I pointed out that the website states it will be placed immediately upon me reporting the damage, which was over a week ago now. I was told that the request for a replacement was not made until I called two days ago and it was being processed accordingly. I was furious because it should have happened a week ago. I spoke to another clueless customer service rep and a supervisor - both said they were unable to help me. I told them that the policies on the website, specifically the promise for immediate reorder of damaged goods and the 100% guarantee, should either be enforced or removed. As of now, I still have not received the replacement wallpaper but two weeks later, the second pattern did finally arrive *much* later than promised. THE 100% GUARANTEE IS A JOKE. THE WEBSITE SAYS IT BUT THEY DON'T STAND BEHIND IT. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. You can order any wallpaper found at their store from Sherwin Williams, Lowes, Home Depot, etc. with far less hassle.

this place is horrible !!! here is why i order 3 different patterns of wall paper border on-line and got the first batch 2 weeks after i ordered. i was wondering where the rest of my order was so i called. i was told one of the borders was very popular and they ran out but there is going to more available in a day or two and i should get it in a week. i asked where my other order was and they said they were going to ship the last two together. 2 weeks almost past and i finally got only one of the two orders. i called again and complain about the order and got some rude lady that didn't know anything about her job telling me how i was going to get it soon. i wrote an email to the company and the next day i talked to someone there saying the last order of mine has been discontinued. so after all the other workers there she was the only one that helped me or so i thought. i later looked at the bill and was being charged with yet an other processing fee. i was mad as you can imagine because i am paying for there screw ups ! i called and the lady was so rude and lied to me on the phone and when i pointed the fact out she hung up on me. so bottom line - your actual paying more in the long run because of this fee - people lie to you to get you to be quiet - they are rude to you if you point out what there doing wrong - they do not know how to do there jobs find an other place to get your things this place is not worth the hassle

The 100% satisfaction Guarantee they use so freely means nothing! I placed an online order for two oversized roller shades which were supposed to ship in one day or be free! The shades received were not “roller” shades as ordered but chain driven. The altered shades would not function properly in my windows. I called Steve’s the day I received the shades and notified them of the problem, requested a call tag and replacements be sent. Another set of shades arrived that were identical to the previous set. I called Steve’s again. I now had two wrong orders. The mfg. agreed to make my shades that day the way they were ordered and ship right away. Call tags did not allow for pick-up at my home but required I transport oversized boxes to a drop off facility. When I had not received the replacement I called Steve’s to check on their status. I was informed the mfg. did have my returns but they had not made my shades as they said they would. I was told the shades would be made in the next couple of days and would ship the following Tuesday or Wednesday. I told Steve’s this was not acceptable and I did not want to work with this mfg. with all shades returned and my replacements not in production I wanted my order cancelled. I was told by Steve’s they would try to cancel my order but could not promise. I was firm since the order was not in production that I wanted it cancelled. I was then informed the order could not be cancelled because it was already in production despite having just been told it was not. I told Steve’s if the shades were shipped I would return them under Steve’s “100% satisfaction guarantee” Steve’s told me because my shades were custom they could not be returned. Since all shades made are “custom made” to the customers measurements their “100% satisfaction guarantee” means nothing!
