I have used it for risotto several times, but can't get it to stir completely down to the bottom of the pot so it leaves a thin layer of black risotto at the bottom (not affecting the rest of the dish) but makes the pot really really hard to clean =(

I have one of these and have only used it once, making custard. Despite its limited use, it is absolutely indispensable! I mean, who actually has time to stand and stir a pot for 20 minutes!?!
