I bought a pair of these recently (a queen and a twin), to use as guest beds for the few times a year we have visitors stay with us. We already had the most expensive latex mattress from IKEA, which we were very happy with. We went to the store and tried out the cheaper foam mattresses, starting with the Florvaag, the least expensive one. I was immediately impressed (pun intended), in a good way. We tried the next one up but didn't feel it justitied the extra cost at the time. After having slept on the queen for the last 2 weeks, and having had guests sleep on both for about 10 days prior to that, I can say I am truly amazed at the quality of sleep we all had. I honestly could not imagine paying more for any bed, even for permanent use. For heavier people, one of the slightly more expensive foam mattresses might be needed to prevent sinking through to the floor (or bedframe), so definitely try all of them before deciding on one. One of the best things about these babies (especially the cheapest, thinnest Florvaag) is that they can be rolled up and put in storage. I think it's insane to have most of 2 rooms taken up by guest beds that will be used one week out of the year. Brilliant IKEA, you are brilliant!
