Wow, what a wonderful school! I learned so mush there! It is a quick way to become a better actor. Every actor learns at his/her own pace, but they will speed up the process, no doubt about it. Really good place.
I have been studying at the Acting Corps for about a year now, and I have learned a great deal! Because of the class set-up, it is considered a short-term conservatory, but by no means is there any promise that you will become an Oscar winning actor by the end of BCII. The more you learn about this craft, the more you realize you will never know everything, and any school that tells you otherwise is not worth your time. I have become a more informed actor because of the Acting Corps, and I highly recommend this studio to anyone who wants to follow their dreams and stop sitting behind a desk. If I could be happy doing anything else, other than acting, I would!
I disagree with the description of this post. There is no quick way to become a good actor. It takes dedicated study, just like any career in the arts. Any boot camp is not worth your money. Instead, you need to be involved in a two-year program and then a professional master class on a regular basis to keep you sharp. Personally, I have experience the Wayne Dvorak Acting Studio two-year Meisner program. It is comprehensive and systematic -- which means you won't have holes in your acting instruction. Boot camps only can give you a superficial look at acting -- you really haven't learned your craft that way. None of the great actors learned how to act through boot camps -- why would you? Go to waynedvorak.com and read up on what a quality program offers. You'll see the difference.
