I have noticed that most hair stylists only have clients with hair similar to their own hair. If the stylists has straight or wavy hair, then the clients will have straight or wavy hair. If the stylist has curly or tightly coiled hair then the clients will have curly or tightly coiled hair. Maybe it is because of a comfort level of dealing with hair types/textures that are common to the stylist. Or maybe clients are drawn to stylists with similarities?? I can understand that, I think. Wait…. what separates a good stylist from a great stylist? One who is familiar with all hair types and products best suited for all hair types and textures!
