So there are dozens of ideas running through my head about things I really need to write about. The Pink Rabbit asked why city folks hate rednecks, it recently came to my attention that apparently women fake interest in things to win points with guys and I wonder how common is this and why would anyone do that, but one thing I want to say right now is: Loyalty. Gangs are a long lasting tradition almost institution in the world and there is a reason for that. Gangs get things done and do it without BS bureaucracy. Okay I know there are A LOT of negatives but there are some things that I think the average person could really learn from a gangster, for instance to take care of certain things on your own. There are many times when it is okay to rely on the police or courts and lawyers to seek justice but then again there are some times when you just shouldn’t testify. I was joking around with Smuv and told him that if he beat me I wouldn’t testify against him. I know it sounds like a joke and I don’t think he believed me but it’s true. I trust my judgment and intuition about people and situations and trust that if someone is going to betray me or hurt me I can handle it on my own. Most white folks and Middle America whiners don’t seem to get the concept of loyalty. Protect your own, regulate your own, handle it on your own. So, below I have comprised a rough guideline of times when it is versus is not okay to testify. A drunk driver causes injury or death to you or a loved one: Testify. Your child beats up his or her sibling: Do Not Testify. A stranger breaks into your house and holds you and or your family hostage: Testify. Your spouse or lover smacks you for cussing them out for coming home drunk and smelling like strippers: Do Not Testify. Your spouse or lover beats you up in an ongoing or severe way: Testify. Someone you love is arrested for a non violent crime: Do Not Testify. Now if you are worried someone you love is getting into trouble and you have tried your best to support and guide them and they just won’t listen here is what to do… Mind your own business, don’t ask so many questions, if they do end up in trouble Do Not Testify. Okay so what if you are subpoenaed to testify and you will be a narc or a rat if you do? What if the court demands it? After all you don’t want to go to jail for being uncooperative with the court. So, here are your options… Suffer from short term memory loss… Example. Prosecution: Pink Knight can you please describe for the court what happened that night. Pink Knight: Well it was dark and I had been drinking heavily I am not sure what I saw I just heard some yelling but I was listening to my I-Pod and couldn’t really make out what was being said. You could deliberately be declared a hostile witness… Example. Prosecution: Pink Knight can you please describe for the court what happened that night. Pink Knight: I don’t know what happened that night but what I do know is that fucker owes me money and if he doesn’t pay me back ill say whatever you want me to say. Marry the person who you are being asked to testify against (unless you are related to them) Example. Prosecution: Pink Knight can you please describe for the court what happened that night. Pink Knight: No I will not, you can not force me to testify against or incriminate my spouse in a court of law. Play Dumb. Example. Prosecution: Pink Knight can you please describe for the court what happened that night. Pink Knight: Which night do you mean? Prosecution: the night in question. Pink Knight: Can you repeat the question? Prosecution: Can you please describe for the court what happened the night of July 18th 2007. Pink Knight: That was a while ago, hmmm well, I think I ate Italian for dinner or was it Chinese? Was that a Wednesday? I always have Chinese take out on Wednesdays there is this really good place by my house that serves the best wontons. And if all else fails. Be willing to go to jail for them. Yes I am serious. If you are loyal and the person you are asked to testify against deserves to be protected then be willing to go
