I own both and like them pretty well. Castaway is a truly unique offering though that will give hours of enjoyment. The pets expansion only adds a little to the overall joy of Sims2, however. It's good but not as creative.

I think this game looks really cool! Not as good as Sims2 Pets, but it gives you something fun to do for a few hours. I am a big fan of Sims! I hope to get this for Christmas!
