I came across this article the other day. This woman was paid to go on a diet in which she exercised and only ate 500 calories a day and then right an article about it. Her goal was to reach an American size zero. This woman was a healthy eater to begin with and wore an American size 8. She had to stick to the diet for 2 months. She said it was miserable. But on 500 calories a day with exercise I can imagine it was miserable. I decided I would give this a shot both because I want to loose weight and for the experience. At 9pm last night I had only eaten 502 calories and also walked 5 miles earlier that day. I was weak and dizzy and I had a headache and also starving. I finally gave in. I had a half a piece of lasagna and some cheese and a glass of tea. That brought me up to 800 calories and I felt a lot better. Today I ate lunch with my husband at Taco Johns. Mexican food, as long as your reasonable in what you eat is not that bad. I had a steak soft taco with all of theveggies, half a bean burrito, and a churro. I was still out running around at dinner time and had to bring my husband and his friend a cheese burger at work and ended up getting myself some French fries. I would have been so much better off without those fries (530 calories) I ended up with 1166 calories. When I got home I went out into the woods on my property (its all hills, up and down like a W) and in the cold and pouring rain I walked for an hour. That combined with all of the walking around I have done today came to 660 calories. This brings me down to 505 if I subtract what I burned. There are a number of very low calories things I could eat later if I do decide I need some food. I might try lettuce without the dressing. 1 cup of lettuce only has 4 calories in it.
