Tom began making Japanese-inspired linoleum and wood block prints of Mt. Tamalpais when he was a teenager. In 1975 he collected these small, mostly blue-and-white prints into his first handprinted book "Twenty-eight Views of Mount Tamalpais" (Cowell Press, 1975). Since then, Killion has produced increasingly colorful woodcut prints of Mt. Tam, and he is currently planning to produce a trade edition book juxtaposing his Tamalpais "Views" (how many is not yet certain) with a selection of 150 years of poetry celebrating the mountain. Here you can see many of Killion's more recent Mt. Tamalpais images, and we will be adding a complete page-by-page catalogue of the original "28 Views" book in the near future. All prints are limited editions, signed and numbered.
