I have owned my Staber for years and it is perfect. I haven't replaced a thing and it still gets the clothes cleaner than ever. It has definately paid for itself in water, energy and detergent savings a few times over. I would recommend it to anyone.

I've owned a Staber for two years. It's very expensive and contantly breaks down. I've replaced two engines, a pulley and other parts. It is very loud and customer service sold me a "refurbished engine" recently which blew the breakers in my home. Do not buy a Staber. While it's true they do not use much water or detergent, they break down far too easily.
