And if we do think about, the cost is phenomenal. Why not save time while relaxing in a tanning booth by whitening your teeth comfortably for a minimal cost? The simple fact that there is now a procedure that enables almost all people to have whiter and brighter teeth is so overwhelming not all of the general public believes it. This is how human nature works; accepting something new is sometimes difficult. The introduction of teeth whitening products has given way to a lot of hype in advertising, false claims, inferior quality product, which sets the stage for consumer skepticism, and complaints on the procedure and associated products in general. The quickest way to remove any doubts is to educate the general public on the procedure and the associated products. Then, once they understand the facts on tooth bleaching and TWILIGHT TEETH in particular, we continue to provide the consumer the best Quality Product possible. This has always been our goal at Twilight Teeth Inc. and its something were very proud of. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Does Tooth Bleaching really work? Yes. Almost all Natural teeth respond to the process. However, there are some individuals teeth that just do not respond to any bleaching product. Research has not figured out exactly why, but there appears to be about a 2 to 3 percent non-success rate. This is thought to be due to a chemical/mineral structural difference in their teeth. How many ways are there to lighten or bleach teeth? There are three ways to lighten or bleach teeth. Historically, the bleaching procedure was only done in the dental office. This process is commonly called bleaching (although no bleach, as we know it, is used). Over the past several years tooth bleaching has undergone some modifications giving way to three different, yet similar procedures.1. In-Dental-Office Procedure: Tooth bleaching using a high percent age of approximately 35% Hydrogen Peroxide. This is only done in the dental office environment. This procedure is also used in conjunction with heat or light to achieve the whitening results. This is sometimes referred to as Power Bleaching.2. In-Home Process: Tooth bleaching using a percentage of approximately 10% Carbamide Peroxide. A patient is provided bleaching trays for both their upper and lower arches. They are then required to apply the bleaching gel to the trays and wear them for a prescribed duration and frequency (patient treatment schedule) either at home or at work.3. Combination In-Office/In-Home Procedure: Some Dental Professionals use a combination of both In-Office and In-Home Procedure. This is done to basically use the Power Bleaching (name given to the In-Office Procedure) to show the patient a rapid change in tooth shade. The dentist then uses the In-Home Process to do the main whitening process. It is important to note that both procedures offered by a dentist, and that yield the most optimum results, use Carbamide Peroxide as the active bleaching agent. How does Twilight Teeth Platinum teeth whitening work? The surface of your teeth contains millions of microscopic pores. Over time, organic compounds from food, beverages, and tobacco settle into these pores and cause discoloration of the tooth enamel. Twilight Teeth removes these stains with a powerful teeth-whitening process. The active ingredient in the system is Carbamide Peroxide, the same active ingredient used in professional dental offices nationwide. The whitening gel penetrates the pores in the surface of the teeth and removes stains by the process of oxidation. Because Carbamide Peroxide is known to be activated by low amounts of heat, The Twilight Teeth mouthpiece works to allow the UV light which already bleaches the teeth to heat and activate the whitening gel creating an easier, faster process for whitening teeth.Twilight Teeth has addressed two specific problems that occur with other teeth whitening systems:PROBLEM - Fit. Thats right you wouldnt think about it but even with a professional tray made for your mouth can cause uneven distribution of the bleaching gel. How? Even the slightest pressure variance between the tooth surface and the tray caused by biting or even being too relaxed, can cause the gel to be displaced too thin to be effective. SOLUTION - A universal mouthpiece that does not have contact with the tooths surface yet allows the UV light / heat direct access to the surface and the heat activated gel. BENEFIT -A more uniform results. Lower cost because its universal. Time/money saver. PROBLEM - GEL. Some are too low of a % of Carbamide solution to be effective. Some are not thick enough to stay in place, and some have a horrible taste. SOLUTION - A thick, mint flavor, heat activated, 21% carbamide peroxide (industry leading) whiten gel. BENEFIT - A system designed for the tanning industry. Utilizing the unique environment of tanning sessions. Offering The original tanning system for the tanning industry. Major difference: The enormous savings of money by not going to the dentist to have the trays made or spending the time required from other systems. Lets face it you have already allocated your time for tanning why not do two things at the same time. These savings can literally mean hundreds of dollars. Why is Twilight Teeth as good or better than other whitening systems? Simply put, other products either offer too little whitening gel to be effective, or lack a high enough concentration of Carbamide Peroxide in their whitening gel. Most gels are not thick enough to stay in place, and as mentioned contain very small concentrations of Carbamide Peroxide. For a whitening gel to be effective, it must contain a concentration of at least 10% Carbamide Peroxide. Twilight Teeth Platinum contains 21% concentration. Dental offices now offer Carbamide Peroxide based gels with concentrations higher than 16%, and in some cases as high as 35%, these levels are not suited for home use, and generally cost hundreds of dollars to complete the whitening process. How long is the process? The whitening process can be achieved through regular tanning sessions, and most people begin to see results within a few sessions. Continue the process until you achieve the desired level of whitening. After initial treatment, most people do touch ups once a month. Does the process work on dental restoration? The Twilight Teeth Platinum was developed specifically to whiten natural tooth enamel. Therefore, this system will not whiten or alter any dental restoration such as fillings, crowns, veneers, bonding, or bridgework. Will Tooth Bleaching or Twilight Teeth hurt the teeth? No. Research continues with regard to the Tooth bleaching procedure. However, research data to date shows that there is no apparent risk to the teeth. Will Tooth Bleaching or Twilight Teeth hurt the soft tissue? People with periodontal disease (gum disease), or excessive caries (cavities), should be treated for these conditions prior to undergoing the vital tooth bleaching procedure or using Twilight Teeth. The active ingredient in the bleaching gel itself is safe, but if sensitivity to the soft tissue does occur it typically flags an existing problem not normally associated with the bleaching product itself, but rather with the dental or oral health condition of the person using the product. Are there any side effects? A small percentage of users experience increased sensitivity to cold, or minor gum irritation. These symptoms will subside if the user stops the process for a few days. The Twilight Teeth dental whitening gel contains natural mint oil for a pleasant flavor, and is pH balanced to reduce, and in most cases eliminate any sensitivity that might be experienced. You can also solely use the Twilight Teeth mouthpiece with no sensitivity at all. What happens if the bleaching gel or Twilight Teeth is ingested? The Twilight Teeth formula is nontoxic. However, it is like anything else, too much of anything is not good. In short, a person should avoid swallowing when possible. What is in the Twilight Teeth formula? All tooth bleaching products use some type of Peroxide as the active ingredient. There are two basic types used, Carbamide Peroxide which is used by the Dental Community professional products and Hydrogen Peroxide. In both cases Manufacturers attempt to keep the amount of Peroxide low enough to ensure that sensitivity to the gingival tissue. Twilight Teeth uses only the highest quality Carbamide Peroxide as the active ingredient. How does the bleaching gel or Twilight Teeth actually whiten the teeth? This is an excellent question. The peroxide releases oxygen into the teeth. It penetrates the enamel and almost all types of stains are lifted out of the porous enamel. Clinical research has not identified exactly why or how this happens, but the results of testing and the measured results are indisputable. In short, the bleaching gel or Twilight Teeth is activated by the moisture within the mouth. In its activated state it releases this oxygen to the teeth and the bleaching process begins. What is the key to the Twilight Teeth process? Actually the key is to get the bleaching gel against the teeth during its active state. Most dentists will prepare a custom formed bleaching tray for each arch that will be treated. The dentist will then provide a patient treatment schedule. The patient must then follow the treatment schedule which includes the frequency of the treatments and the treatments length of time. The patient treatment schedule will depend largely on the patients particular case and the manufacturers product chosen for use by the dentist. However, the Twilight Teeth formula has been adjusted to work in as little as 10 minutes per session. How long will the results last? Teeth whitened with Twilight Teeth Platinum will stay noticeably whiter for up to a year, however, periodic "touch ups" should be performed to keep your smile its brightest. Your unique combination of age, foods, beverages, and tooth structure will influence the long-term results. Which bleaching agent is better? Virtually all dentists that do tooth bleaching use a carbamide based bleaching gel. They prefer this because it is more stable, and has been proven to yield optimum results. The fact is, it is easier to control the percentage of actual peroxide using Carbamide than using Hydrogen Peroxide. The answer is that bleaching gels that use carbamide peroxide as the active ingredient are the best. What about "Laser Whitening"? So-called "laser" or "high intensity light" bleaching consists of using a very strong whitening solution (usually 25% to 35% Carbamide Peroxide, which contains more traces of Hydrogen Peroxide) and "activating" the solution with a laser or other high intensity light. Because this solution is so concentrated this procedure must be undertaken in the dental office. Recent research, however, has indicated that this concentrated whitening solution is just as effective without light "activation" and, in fact, gives the exact same results when used alone. This procedure can take up to three dental office visits or more, and may cost up to $1000. As with any professional dental whitening system, follow up treatments will be needed to insure your teeth stay vibrant and white. The are many products offered, what is the difference? The active ingredient: Use of dental quality carbamide instead of hydrogen peroxide (H202) is one of the most important. Check the list of ingredients. Method of Application: Most inferior bleaching products require a person to apply the whitener on the teeth with a cotton swab and allow it to set on the teeth for only a couple minutes. After this they are required to apply a thin coat of White Colored polish/pigment to the teeth. Obviously this pigment, at best, will not conclude in any long lasting results, and is basically a psychological factor to the consumer. No Dentist uses this type of pigment. There are many major problems with the type of product using a cotton swap.1. The longer the bleaching gel is against the teeth the more effective it is. Two minutes of the cotton swab type product is not sufficient time to really alter tooth shade.2. All bleaching products activate with moisture. Virtually all cotton swab applied product is packaged in a wide mouth jar. As the product is scooped onto the cotton swab and rubbed against the teeth moisture from the teeth is transferred to the cotton swab. As the Cotton Swab is placed back in the jar, moisture will migrate into the jar and activate the remaining contents of the jar. This results in a jar of worthless product.3. The pigment/polish is, at best, psychological. No further comment need be given. Why is there such a big difference in price between some over-the-counter products at the store, Twilight Teeth and the cost to have the dentist perform the procedure? In simple terms, You Get What You Pay For. In more detail terms, the facts are as follows:1. Most bleaching products sold in stores uses Hydrogen Peroxide as the bleaching agent which is a lot less cost and easier to produce, but understandably less effective in actual bleaching teeth. These products also come in a wide mouth jar which is susceptible to moisture.2. The dentist uses high quality bleaching product (SAME AS Twilight Teeth) specially produced for its bleaching characteristic and safety. The dentist will also provide supervision and help to monitor your bleaching progress.3. The dentist will also fabricate a custom fitted bleaching tray for both arches being treated. (Remember the pressure points we talked about before, Fabricated trays can cause pressure points which can lead to un-even amounts of gel on tooth surface.)Who can benefit from Twilight Teeth Platinum? Anyone from 15 to 100 who wants a more confident, vibrant smile. For those who are pregnant, considering getting pregnant or lactating, it is recommended you contact your physician before using Twilight Teeth Platinum. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Tooth Lightening Contradictions:A. Only Natural teeth will lighten.B. Some stains respond better than others. Stains caused by tea, coffee, smoking, certain foods, and age stains respond best.C: If soft tissue (gums) or tooth hypersensitivity occur, cease using the product. These can be transient side effects and will typically subside within 1 - 3 days. If they do not, it may signify an unrelated problem and you should consult your dentistD:Individuals with gingivitis, bleeding gums, or cavity laden teeth should not use this product and should consult a dentist to ensure that optimum dental and oral heath is maintained.E. Keep Twilight Teeth and all medicines away from children.F. Keep out of direct sunlight and store in a cool dry place.G. Do not wear the Mouthpiece while sleeping. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING Twilight Teeth:Place Twilight Teeth mouthpiece so that your teeth are exposed through the opening.
