Urban Arts Research and Marketing is a full service creative agency with interests in the visual arts, fashion, design and media. Respected within the emerging street culture market simply as UARM, the companys collective list of collaborators includes some of the most important contemporary artists. Founded in 2002 the company gained instant notoriety for its apparel partnerships with the Jean-Michel Basquiat Estate, Ryan McGinness, Mark Gonzales, and Todd James. Carefully curated, produced, and distributed, the company works closely with each artist to develop their line over time, avoiding trends of the fashion world while remaining fiercely, and uniquely, independent. For the past 5 years, UARM has consistently added artists to its roster from the razors edge of the art world, skateboarding and street culture.
