These are one of those bead sets that just sort of happens. I was working the flame getting ready for a show we are doing in October, making beads that I feel are so boring, when I decided to slip these in. My secret little garden. The base is black that I wrapped with a twisty I made a few months ago. I don't remember what it was but it contained silver. Beautiful swirls of blue developed. I then put down some green vines. Each bead has two focal flowers with three layers of petals in a blue violet shade. The center of each flower has a detailed stamen. And to keep these beauties company are several small single petal orange flowers with bubble centers. All three are well encased in layers of clear. The bead holes are naturally beautifully puckered. There are basically two sizes, the larger focal and two smaller accents. One measures 20 mm x 23 mm Two measures 20 mm x 21 mm Wrapped on a 1/16 inch mandrel. All my lampwork is annealed in a digitally controlled kiln, then cleaned with a diamond encrusted bead reamer.
