Many of the larger favor stores will stock seasonal designed favors all year round, whilst others will only stock them during the season before or during the season itself. Then there is the potential for homemade seasonal wedding favors, which may or not be achievable should seasonal products be required. There then comes the task of choosing the perfect favors for your seasonal wedding. Whilst you may have some ideas in mind, it can be difficult to find unique and personal favors, as often seasonal favors tend to obvious designs. For instance, leaves for fall, snowflakes for winter, flowers for summer etc. Here are a few ideas for seasonal wedding favors with a difference: Edibles are always popular with guests, but rather choosing shaped candy which coordinates with your season, why not make your own favors at home with seasonal produce. Think about preserves for spring or summer, chutneys for fall or winter, bags of mulled wine spice for a festive winter wedding and spiced cider punch for a fall wedding. Cakes, cookies and savories can all be themed towards a particular season and homemade wedding favors are always more memorable. Icons of the season your wedding falls in can be a good way to personalize your favors towards your seasonal wedding. However popular choices such as leaves for fall and blossom flowers for spring can be found in abundance within the many favor stores, so it is down to you to find something different. Pumpkins and harvest work well for fall, bare trees for winter and birds for spring or summer. Colors are another way of themeing your favors to the season of your wedding. Often there will be a color palette trend for each season every years, but you don’t need to stick with this if you don’t like the colors or they are not within the ones you have already chosen. Think about jewel shades for winter which combine well with crystal favors; warm browns, gold, and red for fall; pastels for spring and brights for summer. Patterns are another choice and can be combined with your color choices for maximum effect. Consider tartens or plaids for winter; stripes and checks for fall; polka dots and broderie anglais lace for spring and gingham, spots and floral patterns for summer. and floral patterns for summer.
