The end is in sight! After 5 long years, I will *most likely* finish my Ph.D. at Caltech in June. I have 2 months to write 2 scientific papers and my thesis. My thesis defense will be in mid May. Then I graduate in June. My days are pretty crazy now. I work from morning to night, all week and weekends too. I gotta finish! After my Ph.D. I will return to USC (in July!) to finish the last 2 years of my M.D. It's going to be tight squeeze, but I think I can manage it. I have a Step-by-Step article on how to disable auto-restart in Windows Update Automatic Updates. Automatic Updates will automatically restart your computer if the new updates require a restart. If you happen to have any documents or programs open, you will lose this data. The guide here will show you how to configure Windows Update Automatic Updates to install the updates and then prompt you to restart, instead of automatically restarting. This is a very useful thing for most of us.See less »
