WRINKLED SEAT - always. knoll says the fabric just does that. if anyone sits in the chair, the seat is left very wrinkled. knoll says to smoothe it out, which leaves baggy fabric on the sides. they should advertise this with pics. for such big bucks, it should look good.

I saw an original "Womb Couch"in a collector's showroom - the sign "DO NOT SIT" had fallen off, and it just welcomed me. I was curious just because of the look, and I had no clue what I was sitting in. I have a very bad back (4 herniated discs and the typical degenerated discs that happen) and I DID NOT WANT TO GET OUT OF IT. If I could AFFORD even a used one - I'd buy one in a heartbeat. I wonder if knock-offs would come close in comfort. I AGREE - WHERE IS IKEA

So upsetting that such a great chair is out of the price range of many of us. I like knock offs. There is a version of this under 1k from Paradigm Gallery (www.pgmod.com). Still a lot of money...where is IKEA!
