About: Security - Shipping - Returns We are really excited to add these versatile and dye-able fibers to our repertoire. Tussah is wild silk, as opposed to cultivated. (Wild silk worms eat whatever they want, and cultivated silkworms eat only mulberry leaves to make the silk completely white) The silk is bleached which makes it a more uniform creamy white instead of the natural honey brown color. Great for taking dyes. The wool is fine and soft, average 25 micron count, and is US grown, which supports our farmers. Combing removes the short fibers, so you are left with smooth uniform long fibers. Spin your own custom yarns, or jump on the bandwagon and try out felting! Nice quality and great prices. Made in: UNITED STATES (USA)
