If left unattended, this separation will grow. Should the threads get damaged or cut, the braids may start to separate. The Budapest Wool Area Rug is an exciting journey through a world of color. All rugs lay flat when they leave the factory.
For deep cleaning, we recommend professional cleaning. Spot cleaning with non-bleach detergent is fine. Braided rugs are stitched together using extra strong thread. Once the rug is flat, we recommend a rug pad for longer wear. Simply use a sharp pair of scissors and trim the sprout even with the rug. Wool is an extremely durable natural fiber, ensuring that your rug will last a lifetime with the proper care. Occasionally sprouts will appear in your rug. Spills should be cleaned as soon as possible.

These are a natural by-product of the traditional method that Homespice uses to make their braided rugs. We recommend sewing the braids together with a needle and thread. See less »
