Zen because it is a trouble free experience and Kaya means home in vernacular South African language, where the concept was first sketched. Who is behind it? Zenkaya design is an international Design Company Specializing in Prefabricated structures. Eric Bigot was the Designer for ZenKaya. Trained as an Architect in France, he has lived in New York, Japan and several parts of Africa. His interest for prefabricated was born out in New York and Japan where construction method are much more rationalized and cost effective. Enjoy it! ZenKaya Concept is all about the experience. From the moment you order it to the moment you live in it. Because it is like a car you don’t have to deal with the lengthy process of design yet you can personalize it. When you have decided which model you want and the options you want, you will have done most of the process and still have a unique product. Because it is made in a factory we can control all the materials, the quality and therefore the cost. Not to mention the reliability of the process of a one stop shop versus the many contractors you will have to deal with in a traditional situation.
